What a horrible app. One minute Thinkflood makes it work and five minutes later they break it. Hope you read the reviews. Version 2.50 not working at all. Please put some info on your website on when youre going to fix version 2.50. Very unhappy customer

Just got it, most recent update on iPod touch 2ndG. Works great, no problems!

Just dont work ! The dawn things wont connect at first setup , thinkflood give me procedure to reprogram the inner software of the device. Its supposed to be simple and ready to run out of the box. On the web site of redeye thinkflood its write that the process is simple and easy about 15-20 minutes!!!! Big joke ! The product sounds great but is not ! I read others reviews and i feel pretty much the same and experience the same trouble. I was expecting more of that product for the price. By the way if you look about somethings similar and functional and stable: unity remote ... Its battery powered and bluetooth wireless connection. Work fantastik and easy to setup ( its automatic setup and test audio/video by it self ) if some command is wrong you can make it learn from the original remote!!!!! Cost almost the half of redeye price!!! Awesome.....UNITY REMOTE is the best for now !!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON REDYEYE,,,

Cant add device keeps giving network error. $59 what a waste of money. Dont buy this you WILlL regret it

This a great gadget that does what it says and more. Its easy to setup and operate and for the real hackers, you can drill down into scripts and programming. Its a clever little device; it remembers its settings and even runs its own operating system (and web server). I recently had a minor problem when the integrated charging dock stopped functioning, Sarah at customer support replied to my email immediately and a completely new device was delivered right to my door in just 3 days. Fastest service ever. Very convenient not to have to send back the old device first and they even pre-loaded my settings!

Base wifi unit and this app are awesome. I cant comment on the mini, but Ive been using this for over a year now and with the exception of the 2.5 update (which they did correct) it has been wonderful. Support exists and is reasonable.

Overall I really like the redeye product. It is very customizable. With the new update, they have addressed manny of the previous shortcomings for customization that were bothering me. The first Redeye product I received was defective and the iOS devices were unable to recognize it. I sent an email to their support and shortly after they opened on Monday, they replied. They issued a replacement device which arrived on Wednesday. Id say their customer support is pretty good. The replacement is a new revision of the product which now includes a 3.5mm jack that allows you to plugin a remote IR blaster (not included), which might be useful to some. Overall, its a great product but be prepared to spend some time tinkering to get everything just right. There is a price to pay for the amount of customization this product offers. This product is great for controlling my multi zone audio. I was able to find remote codes for all of my av equipment. There were a couple of functions I had to learn from my remote but that process worked perfectly.

download the update…kill your entire system…..whats the point????????? id be super embarrassed to put this crap out…..why didnt i listen to the 124 peeps who gave this piece of crap a 1/5????? shame on me

Go buy yourself a Logitech Harmony Link, its MUCH cheaper and works WAY better. Its what the RedEye should be.

Great app, great solution for universal remote. And the best customer service I ever encountered. I have it for almost a year now. Home theater, playstation (via logitech adapter) Everything works like a charm. Configuration a little long, but very customizable

Totally not worth the money for the hardware. One update let me change volume on my amp after I hit the button 4 times. My tv and dish have been glitchy too. I have kept up with the updates for about 6-7 months and somewhere along the line it stopped even recognizing my red eye mini. I dont recommend this to anyone.

Without fail this latest update killed my redeye. Now back to a 3 hour process of trying to get it up and running again. Joy.

I bought a Mini and the blaster about 6 mnths ago. Blaster would not work OOB. Had to get special patch from ThinkFlood and flash the device. After 5 hrs over 2 days of messing around it finally worked. Im a developer and it was painful. Regular users, forget it. Plugged the Mini in yesterday (forgot I had it). Upgraded to this version first, followed instructions. DOES NOT WORK. PERIOD. I have iPad2 with ios5 and an iPod with ios5. BOTH DONT WORK! They both crash when you plug in the Mini. If it doesnt crash, the Mini Room doesnt show up. Im not spending another second of my time on this POS. This is a POS. RUN FAR AWAY. For those that got it working, congrats.

I bought the Redeye System for my house. I have centrally located media hub, with a Home Theatre System and a Asrock 330 media box running XBMC. These are all connect with speakers through out my house and speakers outside. My purpose for buying the Redeye System was so that I could wirelessly control my media hub from any where on my property. The Redeye allows me to do that, Ive been running it for month and the unit has performed flawlessly. Set up was reasonably easy, all the components were added without any hiccups. The Asrock 330 required a little extra set up as I had to use its original remote to beam some of the specialty controls it had onto the Redeye. But that was just a matter of point the original remote at the Redeye and it saving the functions. Overall Im very happy with the unit and would recommend it

Amazing! I love you guys. Ive programmed everything from a logtech to the urc mx6000, this just works so well and for such a great price! It just keeps getting better with each update too! It gets better and better all the time. Up dates are great. McMike

The app works. Works great. Very easy initial setup. You just keep adding devices to make your home automated. With the new IP control it is limitless what can be controlled. Very good on Thinkflood for the RedEye Pro. Amazing controller.

I bought the RedEye mini and am running the software on a first generation iPad with OS 5.1. I use the term "running" very loosely since the app spends more time crashing than doing anything else. In my opinion, dont waste your money on this software/hardware combination, I certainly regret doing so.

New IP devices are fantastic. It is now possible to combine the control of IR device with IP ones as lighting controller, alarm system, camera ... It is huge...
