I wasted $50 on the mini and the app crashes every time Ive tried to use it. Ive reinstalled the app five times with the same result...dont waste your money.

Since the last update, it takes forever for each activity to run. Ive checked the delay settings for each command and theyre fine. It just takes between 30sec to a minute before it even starts executing them. It would also be nice if the app would remember which screen I was on when I leave and come back. Its an annoyance to flip over to Facebook, have a movie get too loud, then have to go through the process of getting back to the app, going over to the Devices tab, pulling up the TV remote, and finally getting to turn the volume down. Ive tried but cant figure out how to configure a remote for the "Watch TV" activity. The app automatically supplied one for "Listen to Music," although some of the buttons were grayed out on their own. Overall, I like this app. Its made my home theater very sleek and allowed me to have a wireless appearance in the living room. But there is definitely a lack of refinement and polish.

Took a while to get set up, but it was worth it. Manages a complex home theater system perfectly. A pleasure to use. Fast and responsive. I was an early adopter and found the support to be excellent.

I was controlling the world at first. Now I am down to very basic functions. As the program updates, the settings dont always follow. It really burns a battery quickly on my 4 & 4s. If I get an alert, it is way less than quick to get back to the program. None of my modules for lighting etc work properly. You have to learn as you go. For instance. On means Off on some gear now. Understand, this was setup for me. It was awesome until the world rotated.

There should be a confirmation before it turns of when you hit the power button. We hit the power button many times by mistake.

Very unreliable. Cannot control TV or music

Moderate challenges in setting up. I control appleTV, monitor, directv, hdmi switch, projector, receiver smoothly- for 18mos- upgrades in past were rocky but seem reliable now.

This was a great system until the latest update. Now it is awful and unfortunate. Stay away until its corrected.

The hardware works flawless and the app works fine. Setup takes longer than it should if you have less common components. The library of pre-programmed devices is limited. The training feature works well and allows to integrate any device that has an infrared remote control. Great universal remote that allows through wall control.

Its a decent universal remote unit. Like anything that uses wifi there are periods of loss of service and a delay between your input and its response. But the app is nice I love the way its customizable. Not to many other apps are like this. Looking back I dont think I would spend $199 on it again. But since I already have it, its the only remote I use.

I love this app and device. It makes it easy to control the functions of my home. The customer service at thinkflood is the best. Sarah is very helpful and patient with people.

Product could have been great, but it is not! The iPad and the base station IR Tx easily lose communication between them, for no reason whatsoever, rendering your ipad useless as a remote control!? Imagine trying to go back to the previous channel because your show just started only to find that redeyes sofware has either frozen or is dismissing your commands because the iPad and the base station are no longer linked! I will ask for a refund

The product, when it works, is amazing. Unfortunately it seldom works. The connection between my iPad and RedEyes hardware breaks all the time, for long periods of time, rendering Redeyes application on my iPad either frozen trying to process a command or sending commands that the hardware will never receive. Imagine yourself trying to go back to your favorite show on the the TV, only to find that RedEye is not responding. It drives you insane! Suddenly, again for no reason, the hardware wakes up, reconnects to my iPad and then everything works flawlessly. Of course10 min too late.

Redeye solved all my audio/video remote problem. The product is very stable and did not have any issues with it. It is so easy to set up and run. I would highly recommend it.

Very cool when it works. Nice app however there is noticeable lag. I have used it for about two years now and at times I became very frustrated with communication issues ( stops working for no apparent reason at all) they also need to do more effective testing before releasing updates.

Works great for remotely turning on components, setting inputs and adjusting volumes....thats all I need and it works like a charm. Also...great customer support!

I purchased this little device and took it home really excited, at first the device connected, and the firmware installed, than it pooped out. Now, my device does not know when the red eye is in the phone and this cant be used to do anything with my TV. Fix this! It is an incredible system with great potential!

This app seriously needs a design overhaul from an experience designer. The functionality is spread across way to many screens. Using the app requires too many taps because the hierarchy of the UI is too deep. The entire interface feels like developer UI that never was tuned for usability. I want to see my activities and core remote buttons on one screen and I want to get to commands for a particular device more quickly.

The app is worthless. It freezes after more than one command, if you get that far. I had to restart 4x just to have it recognize the red eye mini and not crash afterward. Then, while sending a volume command, it freezes, continues to send the command and ceases to function. About a year ago, this app was reviewed terribly and I thought for sure they must have fixed the issues by now. The app has a newer icon, but it still is worthless.

The video does not follow the set up page ......had it working for a day then it Stopped not worth the $$$$$$$$ Junk!!!!!!!!!!!!!
